Korean Idols Dominate German Music Chart for 2 Weeks in a Row

Korean idol groups have dominated German music channel Viva TV’s hot music chart for two weeks in a row.

SHINee’s Hello and TVXQ’s Why were placed 1st and 2nd on the 30th Weekly VIVA Clip Chart published on 28 July. 2NE1′s I Am the Best was 8th, and SNSD’s Hoot 10th, to be followed by B2st’s Fiction (19th), Big Bang’s Tonight (40th), 2PM’s Hands Up (46th), and B2st Breath (90th).

Viva TV is as influential in Germany as MTV in the U.S. The Clip Chart ranks most-watched music videos based on the viewer counts and online mp3 download counts for the past week.

BEAST holds successful fan meetings in Taiwan

During the group’s third visit to Taiwan, BEAST held two fan meetings in Taipei, generating over 13 million Taiwanese dollars (approximately $451,000 USD) with the sale of all 5,000 available tickets. More than 350 fans greeted them at the airport when they arrived.

BEAST held a press conference when they arrived in Taiwan. When asked how the members stay motivated, they responded, “Our fans provide us with the greatest strength.” While the members are hoping to hold a full concert in Taiwan in the future, they revealed that there are currently no such plans in the short-term. However, it was announced that their company is currently seeking trainees aged 14 to 24 in Taiwan as well as four other places. When asked about food, the members revealed that they love bubble tea, but they also miss eating Korean food such as kimchi.

In addition to performing nine songs at the fan meetings, BEAST also interacted with the fans by playing various games such as jumping rope. The fans waved towels and lightsticks, responding to BEAST’s performances with loud cheers.

[Exclusive] Europe, K-POP rampage…BEAST·4Minute concert in England

The popularity of KPOP in Europe has been rising.

Last month, Girl's Generation·Dong Bang Shin Ki·Super Junior, etc. SMTown held the first ever exclusive concert in Paris, France. Following this, 4Minute·BEAST·G.Na, Cube Entertainment (Cube for short) will hold the "UNITED CUBE CONCERT" in London, England this November. If SM chose Europe's culture centre Paris as the first base, Cube is targeting London, England, the home of pop. This is will be the first ever paid exclusive concert in England for Korean singers.

Eluphant and BEAST member Yong Junhyung’s friendship is becoming a topic.

After Eluphant released his digital single ‘She Is Not Following you,’ Yong Junhyung tweeted “I just came home after listening to Eluphant’s new single. For people who use twitter, the contents may seem familiar, but it’s above and beyond.” By doing so, he increased anticipation and expectations and promoted the song.

Yong Junhyung, whom we recently met, spoke of their unique bond. “Before debuting, starting from age 20, I was on good terms with Eluphant’s Kebee hyung. BEAST’s current choreography was made possible through him. At that time, I was conned by entertainment company problems and other issues, but Kebee hyung gave me lots of strength and stood by me. He advised me that reading a lot of books is advantageous for writing raps, and even recommended me some poems. It gives me thoughts that he is an elite rapper with great sensibility.”

“After hearing the songs that the hyungs played for me, I immediately uploaded tweets about it on my account. The track was really good. Because we were busy, we weren’t able to see each other often, but even now, we monitor each other and share opinions. One Night Only Concert On 7th June Featuring K-Pop Stars To Be Shown Live In Cinemas

On 7 June, with the message “Fighting Japan!” Popular K-pop artists will be gathered in Osaka’s Kyocera dome, for a one night only Luxury Live “Seoul Osaka Music of Heart Fighting JAPAN” will be held. It has been decided that this show will be aired live in cinemas all over Japan.

BEAST and X-5 Exchange Albums

BEAST and X-5 had a backstage meeting where they exchanged their albums.

BEAST debuted almost two years ago, while X-5 is the new rookie group of the industry.

The two boy bands happened to meet backstage where they greeted each other and exchanged their most recent albums.

So far X-5 has been praised by other groups like TVXQ and have had a pretty good debut.

BEAST to release "Fiction And Fact" Limited Edition album

BEAST released their first full length album on May 17th and successfully topped the charts with their title track, "Fiction," and their previously released ballad track, "On Rainy Days." This week, BEAST had their comeback performances on M! Countdown, Music Bank, Music Core, and Inkigayo. For their comeback performances, they performed a combination of "The Fact", "Fiction", and "On Rainy Days."

Cube Entertainment has made a lot of announcements this month, like BEAST's official color of dark gray, and this time they have something else for fans to enjoy.

BEAST will be releasing a special Limited Edition of their first full length album, "Fiction And Fact." The limited edition will include new pictures, three piece fashion cap buttons, and a special t-shirt.
