On the 5th, 2PM appeared on SBS Power FM’s ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time,’
where many hidden truths were expressed. As members exchanged
stories, likings and so on, Wooyoung’s confession definitely caught
the attention of everyone on set.

Boyfriend’s maknae Minwoo shared his special memory of working with the talented IU.
Before debuting with Boyfriend, Minwoo was featured in K.Will’s music video for “Can’t Open Up My Lips” as the boy who had a crush on IU. Following the MV release, he became the #1 searched topic for the term, “IU’s younger man.”
When asked about what it was like working with IU, Minwoo answered, “She was a lot prettier in real life.”
He added, “She’s a sunbae I admire and like. It was the role of a boy who had a one-sided crush, but I was happy with just the fact that I was able to work with her.”
The filming of the music video was said to have taken 12 hours. As a gift of support, IU also surprised Minwoo with a singing performance.
Minwoo said, “IU sang me a song during break time and she was really good. She must have been tired, so it was memorable to see her care about me.”

Taeyeon can really sing well. Although I've never seen her singing live before, I thought she has an outstanding vocal after listening to her recorded song. During recording, you can hear a singer's actual voice clearly. Without other effects or mixing works done, I was hugely impressed by Taeyeon's singing. Her techniques, feel of the song and everything are excellent. As an arranger, if you listen to the vocals, you get your own feelings about them. Listening to singers' vocals every day, there are always concerns on how to "dress them up". However, Taeyeon's voice seems to "fit in any clothes"
IU’s 3 octave song, “Good Day” is expected to be a hit in Japan.
SBS’s ‘Fighting Japan! Seoul – Osaka Music of Heart‘ (hosted by IU, Sulli, Lee Hong Ki, and Lee KiKwang), aired earlier today on June 27th, where IU performed her hit song, “Good Day“.
IU has yet to officially start her career activities in Japan; instead she had just performed in different shows in Japan from time to time. However, despite the limited special activities she had participated in, many fans gathered at the Kyocera Osaka Dome to see her perform proving it to be highly likely that her 3 octave high song will work in in Japan as it did in Korea.
Meanwhile, TVXQ, 2PM, 4minute, 2NE1, IU, MBLAQ, U-KISS, FT Island, B2ST, f(x), T-ara, andRainbow also performed at ‘Music of Heart’.
On June 21st, the members of 2PM sat down for an interview, and had a chance to talk about girls.
Nichkhun, who is currently participating in MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘ with f(x)’s Victoria, commented, “Through filming for the show with Victoria, I was able to learn a lot more about women. For example, I learned how to present women with special events when they aren’t feeling too happy.”
He continued, “I’ve grown very fond of Victoria. I feel like we’ve become good friends, and think that is the reason we are able to naturally show skinship. It’s been a year since we’ve met but we still sometimes feel awkward around each other. There’s also a side to me that’s timid and shy.”
Wooyoung, who had participated in the drama ‘Dream High‘ with IU, said with a sigh, “After people found out that I had taken IU out for dinner, things became uncomfortable between us. When I sent her a text saying, “Do you hate me”, she replied back with, “We’re fine now”, but didn’t text me again after that. When we see each other at a broadcasting station, she’ll just give me a quick smile and run away.”
He added, “We’re just friends but I think I’m maybe trying too hard to become better friends with her.”
When asked about the topic of girlfriends, the members expressed their honest thoughts on the matter.
Wooyoung replied, “I don’t think that there is anything wrong with having a girlfriend.”
He continued, “From a singer’s point of view, without any relationship experience, it would be difficult to express your sincere feelings while singing a song, so I think it would be a lie for us to say that we have absolutely no previous relationship experience.”
Junho commented, “I think carrying out a relationship with the little time you have requires true talent“, to which Taecyeon jokingly replied, “I think you’re all praising yourselves a bit too much.”

On May 30th, IU had an fan autographing session in Gwangju and greeted thousands of fans successfully. This was all held in collaboration with Union Bay, as she was crowned as their exclusive model on the 20th.
Fans lined up for a chance to meet and greet popular, young singer IU, which paralyzed traffic. Although one year older, IU seemed more youthful than ever at her fan sign with healthy glowing skin and a bright smile.
Union Bay's officials stated, "IU had signed an exclusive modeling contract for the year of 2011. Our sales have increased 40% compared to last year's records, which truly shows her star power. The recently published summer Marine Awareness advertising t-shirts are temporarily out of stock due to the explosive reaction to buy IU's model tees."

Earlier this month, we revealed a CF from Korean petroleum and refinery company, ‘S-OIL‘, which featured an appearance from IU.
Two weeks down the road, S-OIL released another CF with IU, and it’s actually pretty hilarious.
The CF sees IU competing against five boys in a ping pong grudge match, being outnumbered 1:5. After getting smashed in the first few rounds, IU whips out her ukelele and proceeds to smack the living daylights out of the five boys, reducing them to a broken force.
How that has anything to do with S-OIL, we really don’t know, but enjoy the CF anyway!

As
was previously reported, IU released her first orginal composition
'Hold My Hand' (previously also called 'Take My Hand') for part 4 of
the 'Greatest Love of All' drama OST on May 25th.
The
next peak was at midnight, when the song was #1 on seven music charts,
including Bugs, Cyworld, Daum, Naver, Melon, Mnet and Monk3y and #2 on
Soribada. With the drama rising in popularity too, both the OST
composed by IU and the drama are garnering a lot of interest.
Singer/songwriter Yoon Sang revealed that he regrets composing the song ‘Story Only I Didn’t Know’ for IU. 
Korea’s gearing up for a large-scale concert starring major idols like B2ST, IU, and Jay Park!
The ‘Super Idol Big Concert’ was created with the intention of helping culturally diverse families, and will be held for two and a half hours in Jamsil’s Olympic Stadium on June 11th at 7PM.
The line-up includes B2ST, IU, Jay Park, G.NA and special guest Barbara, who are sure to deliver strong performances throughout the show.
Part of the profits from this concert will be donated as a support fund for intercultural families, who generally have a difficult time in Korean society.
Concert representative Lee Seok Yoon passed on, “We planned this concert to expand the sharing of culture, as well as to plant hope in teens from intercultural families who have a difficult time getting by. This will be a good opportunity to see both the idol groups’ awesome performances, and help out neighbors as well.”
He continued, “I think this concert will be a test stage for the overseas concert featuring idols at the highest ranks in Korea. We’ll try our best to show you a great concert.”
Tickets can be bought through the ‘Super Idol Big Concert’ official homepage and Interpark, with ground seats going for 55,000 won and standing seats costing 33,000 won.
