IU's "oppas" express their affection for her

On the July 22nd episode of "Yoo Heeyeol's Sketchbook", IU was treated with much affection by host Yoo Heeyeol.

Viewers jokingly said that since Yoo Heeyeol is considered the nation's man, it is his responsibility to take care of and protect IU, as she is the nation's little sister.

IU confessed that she calls Yoon Sangeun "dad", Kim Kwangmin "teacher", Lee Byungwoo "director", and Yoo Heeyeol her "uncle."

Yoon Sangeun said that he tried to get IU to call him "oppa" (an affectionate term used by girls for guys a bit older), but it was a waste of time as he was the same age as IU's dad. He also stated jokingly that if he wasn't so old, he would have tried to start something with IU.

Kim Kwangmin, also tried to get IU to call him "oppa" by saying as a joke that everyone in the K-pop business is considered to have an oppa/younger sibling relationship.

During the show, Kim Kwangmin, a new ages singer/pianist, played the piano, IU played the keyboard, and Lee Byeongwoo, also a singer, played the guitar in accompaniment to IU's "The Story Only I Didn't Know" which was composed by Yoon Sangeun.

Kim Kwangmin also performed 'Summer Rain' from his 4th album, while Lee Byeongwoo performed 'In Praise of the Han River' from the movie OST of 'The Host'.

Overall, the conversation led to a lot of laughs for IU and her affectionate "oppas" as well as the audience.
