Dal Shabet concludes “Pink Rocket” promotions

Girl group Dal Shabet shed some tears at a fan-meeting, where they concluded their promotions for “Pink Rocket“.

On May 29th, the girls performed their bubbly song for the last time. The goodbye stage was followed by member Ah Young’s birthday celebrations during the event.

Through the event, the girls got to say goodbye to their fans and shared their feelings about the end of their promotions. They even started crying while talking about their final stage.

Ah Young said, “Thank you so much for your love and support for a group that is lacking in so much. We won’t forget your love, and will come back with an improved image through our next album.”

The song did fairly well on the charts and earned them boosted public attention and new fans. Reportedly, the girls will be back sometime soon in July.

Dal Shabet’s Serri & BeBe Mignon’s Hae Geum to co-MC “Gossip House”

Dal Shabet’s Serri and BeBe Mignon’s Hae Geum will team up to be co-MCs for the new variety program, “Gossip House.”

On May 25th, CJ Media announced, “The show will be like a TV version of tabloid magazines in that it will cover fashion, beauty, Hollywood, and gossip surrounding Korean celebrities. Our target viewers are women in their 20s and 30s, and our co-MCs Serri and Hae Geum will be leading the program.”

Like any girls their age, the girls promised to provide the latest gossip through in-depth research on the internet and social networking services. Since they’re already loved for their bubbly personalities, viewers are looking forward to seeing their other charms, especially since there’s no script for the program.

After completing their first recording, the two commented, “We were so nervous before the recording began, but our nerves eased once we began talking and regarding each other as friends. We hope to converse as comfortably as possible with the viewers, so please watch over us.”

Ayoung member of Dal★shabet is around 16 days or more away of the 'Coming-Of-Age Day' celebration.
Ayoung will turn 20 this May 26th while and her groupmate Jiyul will be turning 20 this July 30th.

Both members are ready for their 'Coming-Of-Age Day' celebration.

The ladies of Dal Shabet seem to possess infinite potential for transformation, as they’re not working a futuristic “Pink Rocket” style on stage, but have now attempted a fairy tale-inspired look for their photoshoot with fashion webzine, “Sn@pp”.

Dal Shabet and Bebe Mignon celebrate coming of age day

Ah Young and Jiyul of Dal Shabet (who’s currently promoting their lively track “Pink Rocket“) along with Ben from Bebe Mignon blew kisses to fans to thank fans on ‘Coming of Age Day’. As all three were born in 1991, the May 16th ‘Coming of Age Day’ was especially significant to them.

Ah Young, Jiyul, and Ben received various gifts such as perfume, roses, teddy bears, clothes, and celebratory messages from fans to commemorate the special day. To thank the fans for the wonderful gifts, the girls (now women) took pictures of kissing poses for fans in return.

Ah Young stated, “Now that I’m a real adult, my responsibilities have become bigger and I am beginning to worry. I will try my best to live my 20s proudly.”

Jiyul revealed, “From now on, I will think deeper and I will be cautious towards the responsibilities of my actions. I thank my parents for raising me healthily, and I want to become a stronger daughter.”

Ben said, “My heart flutters at the fact that I have become an adult, but I am also worried. I would like to become a little more mature and make lots of memories through experiences that I can only go through during my 20s.”

Dal★Shabet’s Jiyul recently found herself to be a new hot topic online when netizens began comparing her to Piglet of Winnie the Pooh.

In an online community bulletin board, members posted photos and videos of her resemblance to the cartoon character, provoking laughter among the members.

Dal Shabet to perform at the “Hyundai Mobis Pro Basketball Finals”

On April 26th, Dal Shabet will be performing at the halftime show for the “2010-2011 Hyundai Mobis Pro Basketball Finals” at the Jamshil Gymnasium.  Member Ahyoung was also selected to take the celebratory opening shoot.
This will be the second time the girls will be making an appearance at a sports event. They last performed at the “2011 SK Handball Korea League” with maknae Subin acting as the opening shooter.

It’s just been made public that Dal Shabet’s maknae, Subin, fainted during a performance last month.
Netizens have uncovered a fancam capturing the young idol fainting during a performance at a college.
On April 20th, Happyface Entertainment stated, “The video captured Dal Shabet during a performance at an OT (Orientation Training) for a college in Kwangju on March 30th. Subin had her own busy schedule apart from the group, so her body was in a bad condition. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where she received fluids and rested. After that, she came up to Seoul and visited a hospital.”
The crowd applauded Dal Shabet at the time for completing the performance professionally after sending Subin to the hospital.
