JUNGLE Entertainment recently revealed to allkpop that Loptimist, one of Korea’s top hip hop producers, has officially joined their entertainment label!
JUNGLE Entertainment already boasts a top tier hip hop line-up of Drunken Tiger, Yoon Mirae, Leessang, BIZZY, Jung In, and Cho Moon Geun. With the addition of new label mate Loptimist, the label’s prestige is soaring high in the music industry.
For those unfamiliar, Loptimist is known for not only producing with a number of Korean artists like Drunken Tiger, Leessang, Epik High, and Outsider, but foreign artists as well like K-OTIX, Army of the Paraohs, and Underclassmen. Nicknamed the ‘prodigy of the Korean hip hop scene’, Loptimist released his own third album, “Lilac“, earlier this year, and was praised for broadening the spectrum of the hip hop genre.
Representatives commented, “Loptimist is an all-around musician that’s talented in not only composing and writing, but rapping and producing as well. We’ll be supporting him to the best of our ability so that he can focus completely on his musical career.”
Labelmate Tiger JK stated, “I’ve felt this every time I’ve worked with him, but he’s got a surprising talent and passion for his craft. Musically, we fit together so well, I’m extremely glad that he’s now a part of our family.”
