In celebration of Children’s Day, the charity event “2011 Give Children a New Life” was aired on May 5th. The program aimed to raise money to help foster courage and dreams in children battling life-threatening diseases like cancer.
The two members of TVXQ appeared at the event, selling “Potted Plants of Hope” in front of a department store with Park Gyeonglim. The pots had stickers with messages such as “Hug U-Know Yunho or Choikang Changmin,” “Receive a wink,” and “Take a Polaroid picture with them.” To encourage sales, they also provided fan service to the fans who bought these plants.
Besides winking at lucky fans, Yunho was also seen giving a fan a hug in the street, causing many to look on in envy. Jealous netizens left comments like “She’s so lucky, did she save Korea in her former life?” and “I’m so jealous. I should have gone!”
