KASA and Sigma Kappa Rho at UC Davis also collaborated with San Francisco KOLLABORATION & fellow UC Davis fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, to present the benefit show. Korean Culture Night is a celebration of Korean-American talent and culture. The show is also encouraging “Heartful” acts of compassion and proceeds will go to charity towards North Korean refugees, as well as Japan and the Davis Korean Church missions.
The event showcased varying campus organizations and their own take on “Heartful" while supporting some of the nation's biggest Korean-American artists: Dumbfoundead and Clara Chung. The “Heartful” title of the show represents one heart, one act, and one cause to make a difference and with this show, the organizers wanted to get the message out about hope in North Korea, even during one of it's worst political times. “Heartful” has no bounds. It is an all-inclusive series of philantrophic events that strive to promote Korean culture, but all cultures as well. It is a way of showing you care, not merely through words, but through visible actions of thoughtfulness and care.
Opening the event was student-run drumming group, Hansori.

Soon after the UC Davis performers finished, everyone rushed out of their seats and to the stage as Clara C took up the microphone, piano and guitar to perform. She opened up with a strong cover of Far East Movement's "Rocketeer," adding her own flavor to the beats and changing up the chords a little bit.
All eyes were on her as she sang while playing the piano. Next, The crowd sang along to "Camel Song" and "Heartstrings." Clara continued to wow the audience and sang new song that she just learned a week ago and performed at a friend's wedding. Clara graciously thanked the crowd as she ended her last song with "Off Beat"
Next, Dumbfoundead and DJ Zo took the stage, adding more excitement to the loud crowd of college students. Dumbfoundead took the stage with strong charismatic rapping, freestyling and performed his original songs with DJ Zo pumping up the beats. He also performed a remix of "I Need a Dollar" and Bubba Kush, which was a rap over to Diplo's beat "Knock Out" originally produced for G-Dragon and TOP of Big Bang. Dumbfoundead ended his stellar performance with a freestyle rap and invited UC Davis students to join the stage with him in a freestyle rap battle.
