‘Alba’ has chosen 2AM’s Jo Kwon to be their new spokesperson and to star in their new ad campaign.
On June 17th, Representative Gong Sun Wook from Job Seeking Online portal Alba Heaven revealed their new TV commercial campaign called ‘Heaven is working’ starring the famous idol, Jo Kwon.
The commercial will officially go on the air on the 18th with the theme that part-time jobs are not all tedious and hard work. The commercial accents the fun and exciting side of having a job and also capitalizes the unique experience that you will acquire.
‘Heaven is working’ is a sequel to the first commercial, ‘Heaven goes to work,’ and it portrays all the fun that Heaven is having while working at the convenience store, gas station, cafe, market, delivery, and as a customer service representative.
In this particular ad, they combined the popular and unique saying by Hyun Bin from the ultra popularSBS weekend drama, “Secret Garden” along with with Jo Kwon’s funny dance creating“Heaven’s Alba dance.”
Some of the dances will include a convenience store’s ‘bar-code dance,’ gas station’s ‘gas dance,’ delivery service’s ‘motorcycle dance,’ and cafe’s ’serving dance’. All these dances will capture Jo Kwon’s charming and witty personality as well as the excitement of the employee incorporated to ultimately illustrate the character “Heaven.”
During the commercial shoot, Jo Kwon worked to depict the image of “Heaven” in different job settings with goofy facial expressions and whimsical dance moves. Jo Kwon also succeeded in showing off his talent, drawing admiration from those who were watching.
Alba’s representative Gong Sun Wook stated, “Jo Kwon’s wit and talent portrays the lively personality of an employee. He also has a favorable image to teenagers and the general public.” He also added, “I hope that through the Alba’s new ad campaign, we can create a new culture that enjoys part-time jobs.”
Meanwhile, prior to this, MBLAQ’s Thunder played the original part of Heaven in ‘Heaven goes to work’.
