B1A4 interviewed by Japanese magazine Crea-Star

Despite their busy schedules - especially with their upcoming showcase/fanmeet in Singapore - B1A4 was interviewed earlier this month by Japanese magazine Crea-Star about their recent album release and the group as a whole. Crea-Star also included brief individual interviews with the members.

Each of the members discussed their strengths and hobbies; while many of the members enjoyed hobbies such as listing to music, leader Jinyoung stated that he enjoys cooking things like agile e olio (peperoncino) and Sandeul expressed his interests in creative cooking (soy sauce rice with chili sauce).

Jinyoung explained how he became a singer: He auditioned and attended an acting school since middle school, had minor roles, and was scouted when one of his fans uploaded his photo onto the internet. Meanwhile, CNU said that he'd thought he had to attend an applied music school in order to become a singer, so he did so. He was scouted while at a music festival.

With regards to their "OK" MV, Gongchan admitted that acting alongside an actress was a bit awkward, and CNU said he accidentally hit her with a basketball (adding, "Sorry…").

When asked how they relieve stress, Jinyoung reported that the group plays games like speed games, bingo, mafia, or yup.

CNU cited Baro as being the most confident, out-spoken member. Jinyoung said that CNU is the slowest of the group.

The members said that if they were to go to Japan, they would want to hold a concert, see their CD being sold, and go sightseeing. They also demonstrated some of the Japanese they know, like "ganbatte" (try hard/do your best), "kawaii" (cute), "karai" (spicy), "suki desu" (to like), and "sushi." According to Jinyoung, all of the members are currently studying Japanese.

The members have also been listening to foreign music; CNU's favorite Japanese artist is Koji Tamaki from the rock group Anzen Chitai, Jinyoung likes Japanese artist m-flo, Gongchan likes Yui, and Baro likes rapper Lil Wayne.

The group expressed that they were moved by fans who wait all day for their fansigning and by their parents coming to see their performances. Gongchan also cited a time when he was surprised to be bowed to by a young fan wearing a hanbok.

The individual members were also asked questions like their charm points, favorite cartoon characters, and ideal types for women.

Jinyoung named his friendliness, cooking skills, and muscles (only because he is the leader). He likes the Japanese cartoon character Doraemon and prefers women who think only of him.

CNU, who is apparently a mother-like figure, said that along with that, his broad shoulders, pretty feet, and small face are his charm points. He likes the Japanese comic "One Piece", and his ideal woman is "a woman who takes care of people like a mother and has a big heart."

Sandeul said that his charm points are his cuteness, innocence, and his smooth skin. He enjoys Pokemon and, like CNU, "One Piece". His ideal woman is one who tries her hardest with all she does.

Baro named several of his charm points: his cuteness, seriousness on stage, voice impersonations, beatboxing, role as a moodmaker, defined abs, and running speed. His favorite cartoons are Dragonball and Pokemon, and he likes females with whom he can talk well and get along.

Lastly, Gongchan said his charm points are his coolness, face, cuteness, buttocks, dark-toned copper skin, and his soft heart. He wants a woman with all the qualities that everyone else named!
