B1A4's Jinyoung was hospitalized for acute gastroenteritis

It has been announced that B1A4’s leader, Jinyoung, has been hospitalized for enteritis after filming their MV for "Only Learned the Bad Things."

Earlier in the month, the boys were busy with their promotions and filming for "Only Learned the Bad Things." At the filming studio, the members had to film over 30 hours of work. Despite a fever and extreme abdominal pain, B1A4’s leader, Jinyoung, showed his fighting spirit and persevered through without ever once making a complaint, showing his true professionalism. When the filming resolved, Jinyoung was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis. Gastroenteritis is inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, sometimes called stomach flu, and usually occurs from an infection after eating contaminated food. Since the boys have been busy lately, the extra stress could have taken a toll on their bodies and weakened their immune system, increasing the possibility of them getting sick.

An official from B1A4’s agency stated that Jinyoung acted like a real man. Rather than wanting to worry those around him, he endured the hardships and showed his responsibility by making sure everything went well during filming.

MTV will be airing the first episode of “Match Up” on June 22nd at 11PM KST. The show will feature behind-the-scenes filming from both Block B and B1A4’s music videos. The teaser for the show had been released earlier on. It has also been stated that both music videos are scheduled to be released after the first episode of “Match Up” aired.
