BEAST's Kikwang addresses differing popularity levels among members

With the BEAST’s huge success through their first official album “Fiction&Fact,” as well as individual activities, there is an inevitable division between the more popular and less popular members. Many fans have wondered: Does BEAST get jealous of the different popularity levels between members? Through his answer, Lee Kikwang managed to show the maturity and closeness of the boy group as they grow in popularity.

In a wise move, BEAST discussed and resolved the popularity issue before conflicts could arise. Kikwang explained, “As BEAST becomes more popular, individual member activities increase, causing some members to become more popular than others. Because we are human, I feel that we can get jealous and upset due to this. So, beforehand, we decided, ‘Let’s not get jealous, upset or fight because of popularity differences.”

Such maturity and foresight for male idols in their early 20s has impressed many. Because of their openness and good communication with one another, BEAST is able to prevent conflicts and share ideas. This allows them to maintain close relationships and have good team work.
