"Dream High" to expand into Japan with "Dream High Premium Event 2011," TV broadcasts and DVD releases

After a Japanese version of the "Dream High" OST was announced to be released in July, "Dream High" fans who reside in Japan are in for even more treats, with DVD sets, television airings, and the “Dream High Premium Event 2011” in their near future.

It has recently been announced that DVD sets of the first season of Dream High will be available in Japan starting September 28th as two different versions. DVD Box Set 1 will include one 60-minute-long bonus disc, and is priced at the tax-inclusive rate of 16,800 yen (approximately 208.48 USD). DVD Box Set 2 will include two 60-minute-long bonus discs, and is priced at 18,900 yen (approximately 234.53 USD), tax included.

Both versions will showcase video clips of the making of the drama, and will also feature footage from the "Dream High Special Concert" that was previously performed in Korea.

DATV will be broadcasting all 16 episodes of the first season of "Dream High" with Japanese subtitles beginning on July 19th. It will air every day, from Tuesday to Friday, at 12:15 PM.

Furthermore, on September 4th, the “Dream High Premium Event 2011” will be hosted at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Most of the main cast of Dream High will be present at the event, including Bae Yong Joon, Kim Soo Hyun, Park Jin Young, miss A's Suzy, and 2PM's Taecyeon and Wooyoung.

Upon revelation of the upcoming activities, the cast members were given a chance to speak about the nearing Japanese "Dream High" promotions.
