A recent duet sung by G-Dragon and Park Myungsoo at the Infinite Challenge "West Coast Highway Festival" featured a special guest, 2NE1's main vocalist, Park Bom.The story behind the song was unveiled on the June 11th episode of Infinite Challenge. Big Bang was having a Japanese tour at the time, so Park Myung Soo flew to Japan and met up with G-Dragon at a concert venue to discuss the song. Myungsoo proceeded to play clips of songs he would like their song to sound like, causing GD to laugh wholeheartedly and show him a tentative clip of the song. GD then revises his rap-laden song in favor of a more disco-sounding song.
They later ask for the opinion of the other Big Bang members, and Daesung comments, "I've heard the song, it's a good song!"
YG Entertainment suggested that another YG Family member be featured in the song, thus instigating the inclusion of Bom in G-Dragon and Myungsoo's collaboration song to improve the overall quality of the song.
G-Dragon paid homage to Bom’s voice as they were working in the recording studio on 2NE1 TV by stating, "In every song that her voice is included in, it's a hit. Her voice is very good." He commended her strong vocal power even further, saying, "If her voice doesn’t come in one of our albums, we can’t release it."
A rough fancam performance is all that is available of their live stage for now, but the song can be heard clearly through the video.
