Boy group G.IAM revealed through their fancafe several news items surrounding the rookie group.As a first notice, the fancafe revealed that after a lot of meetings, the company and the group have decided that their fan club will be named "The Global". With this news they also explained the group's name, saying that G.IAM is an abbreviation of "Global I Am".
The group is also currently busy with recording new songs. When the recording is finished, the official fan club will be doing some activities that they'd like fans to anticipate.
To clear up a rumor, it was also revealed that member Vega will be leaving the group due to his service enlistment. The members, together with his family members, have discussed about this matter and thought it would be better for his future to have him enlisted now instead of postponing it. The promotions for their debut song "Only You" will continue until Vega is scheduled to leave.
