After much anticipation, "High Kick" will begin recording for its 3rd running season with its new cast. On June 28th, the finalized list of the casting for one of Korea's most popular sitcoms."High Kick 3" is set to air on September 19th this year on MBC and will be directed by Kim Byeonguk with the screenplay written by Lee Younchul. The interest in the 3rd season is high due to the popularity "High Kick" and "High Kick 2" received in the past.
The sitcom has earned a reputation of giving birth to new stars. Past actors who have appeared on "Unstoppable High Kick (Season 1)" and "High Kick Through the Roof (Season 2)" and have found success through it include Kimbum, Park Minyoung, Shin Sekyung, Choi Daniel, Yoon Shiyoon, and Yoo Ina.
The cast has been confirmed to be Park Hasun, f(x)'s Krystal, former G.O.D. member Yoon Kyesang, Superstar K Kang Seungyoon, Kim Jiwon, An Naesang, Julien Kang, Lee Juk, and Baek Jinhee.
It has been released that "High Kick 3" will not focus on family stories like previous "High Kicks" and will instead focus on the young people of the sitcom. Yoon Kyesang will play a public health doctor.
