Jakarta, 27 May 2011 – BlackRock Entertainment, music promoter established by Krishna Radhitya and Jay Alatas on January 2011, will hold their first music concert, Jakarta FantastiKpop Festival 2011 on the upcoming June 18th, 2011.
Five Korean musicians, 2AM, Miss A, JOO, San E and Lee Hyun, who are under JYP Entertainment will perform on one stage. For four and half hours, they will sing their hit songs at Istora Senayan.
“This music festival is more than just a music concert, because Jakarta FantastiKpop Festival is also a festival of art and cultural of Korea. We hope attendees will not only enjoy the music and see their Korean idols live, but once arrive at the entrance can also experience the Korean culture,” says Taye, Director of Blackrock Entertainment.
During the concert, at the outside of the main venue, there will be various booths that provide variety of Korean culture such as food, drinks, music, fashion and etc. In recent years, K-Pop (Korean Pop) has been growing rapidly, especially in South East Asia, including Indonesia. K-pop culture globalization can be an inspiration and motivation for the development of Indonesian art and local music. Some things that are particular about the K-Pop industry that makes them grow so rapidly are the preparation, the music quality, packaging, branding and promotions.
”K-Pop is a culture that is starting to 'globalize'. Therefore, this is the best opportunity for the youths to learn about the culture of another country. They will not only enjoy the songs that are well known but also a small portion of culture origin of the music. Therefore, this event should be designed in such a way for us to provide comprehensive experience to our visitors,” said Managing Director of BlackRock Entertainment, Neki Reinarto.
”For me, if I can represent the teen fans of K-Pop, Korean music, we know from the CD Album, Music Video or the performances here, not just to enjoy the catchy hit songs, but also from the presentation of the artists, we can also see the fashion and lifestyle trend. It could also be a chance for me who is also a singer,” the opinion of Alika, youth singer of K-Pop fans, who attended and sang two K-Pop songs at a press conference in Jakarta FantastiKpop 2011 at BlackCat Jazz Supper Club on May 27, 2011.
Tickets: Online Sales and Direct Selling
Jakarta FantastiKpop Festival tickets have been sold online since May 14th, 2011 through BlackRock Entertainment partner, plasa.com. From May 28th-29th 2011 will be open ticket special box for direct ticket sales at Epicentrum Walk, Rasuna, Jl. HR Rasuna Said, Jakarta. Then, to be opened Daily Ticket Box for direct sales of tickets each day, at 10:00 to 17:00, which will begin at May 30th. Daily ticket will be available at BlackRock Entertainment, Jl. Tirtayasa IX no 12 and BlackCat Jazz Supper Club, Plaza Senayan Arcadia, 2nd floor. Online ticket and Daily Ticket Box will continue until June 18th or till tickets are sold out.
