Girl group JQT, who recently announced their plans of debuting in the States, have revealed that they’re currently in talks to contract with Capitol Records.
On June 8th, a representative of JQT’s agency stated, “JQT and Melvin Brown recently visited Capitol Records, which is a subsidiary of EMI. The staff members took a listen to ‘Peekaboo‘ from the girls’ third mini-album and praised their talents.”
The representative also commented that Capitol Records saw potential in JQT, and had expressed their desire in signing the girls on. For those unfamiliar with the label, Capitol Records is responsible for the album distributions of the Beatles, Snoop Dogg, and the Beach Boys.
JQT will be going on a world tour this year with AKON as well.
