Kangta will take part of a new Chinese drama.
Kangta started his promotions in China last year after he returned from his military service.
Now he will be part of the new drama 'Di Jin', which revolves around the story of the imperial Chinese family and their fight for power.
According to SM Kangta will take the lead role as the Chinese emperor. The historical drama is actually based on a novel written by Mu Fei.
SM also revealed that this is the first time a foreign artist will take the role of a Chinese emperor. The cast will also include Chinese actress Shi Yan Fei and also Lee Tae Ran, who is a Korean actress.
The drama is currently being filmed in Wuxi, China and there is not a official release date yet.
