The album, which was released on June 22, has already sold 91,000 copies in Japan, reaching 2nd on the Oricon weekly single rankings and 1st on Tower Records' weekly rankings.
SHINee's first week sales have set a record for Korean artists debuting in Japan; Super Junior's release of the Japanese version of "BONAMANA" only sold 59,000 copies.
The group has also been very busy with Japanese activities recently with their performance at the MTV Video Music Aid Japan Awards on June 25, and there is no sign of any slowdown in their activities.
What do you think about the overall success of SHINee's Japanese debut?
