Stars in Jakarta for KIMCHI

Stars held a press conference for W Production's 'sharing concert', KIMCHI, 'Korean Idols Music Concert Hosted In Indonesia'.

GoKpop was present at the scene on June 3rd, to bring you the latest details on the upcoming event. Girl's Day, Park Jungmin, The Boss and X-5 came to the press conference to reach out to the media.

The press conference that was held in Golden Ballroom, The Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, took place for more than 2 hours. It started around 07.45pm, with Edric Tjandra as the MC. It was a pleasant atmosphere and the media press was also cooperating nicely.

Park Jung Min

The first artist who appeared was Park Jung Min. He is busy with his solo project that will be released in Japan this summer. Jung Min said that the new album will be released with the support of his fans. When he landed in Indonesia, he worried on how the fans would greet him there, but he said he was surprised with the kindness of Indonesian fans. This is his first visit to Indonesia.

Girl's Day

Wearing white and red costumes, Girl's Day entered the ballroom enthusiastically, with a smile on their faces. This girl group will sing 3 songs on KIMCHI. When they were asked about Indonesians, Park So Jin answered that Indonesian people have beautiful eyes. She also mentioned that fried rice is one of Asia's best foods. Furthermore, it was revealed that they have a concept for costumes that they wear in each performance, such as, school uniform, training suits like baseball, tennis and so on.

The Boss

The Boss will sing 5 songs at KIMCHI. But they will not only sing the song from the The Boss album, they will also cover a song from a famous singer. They promised to show a dynamic performances with an attractive dance. They also added that Indonesia is a open country for accepting Kpop artists. They are grateful for being chosen to come to Indonesia and take part at KIMCHI, they will also introduce Korean Culture to their fans in Indonesia, through their songs and performances later.

Last but not least,

X-5

Stepping into the press conference, wearing black costumes, X-5 was admired by media for their height. Yes, they, themselves confessed that the shortest among them is 186 cm. They said on this first visit to Indonesia, they will sing 3 songs. Like other previous artists, they also said that Indonesian fans are so kind. Ghun, one of the member and also the leader of X-5, said that they will show the best performance for the fans. When they were asked who their idols are, this boyband who has been trained for a year before debut, answered that Korea has too many idols so they cant idolize one alone, because almost all idols are their inspiration. Among the 5, only Haewon can speak 3 languages; Korean, Chinese, and Russian. He even showed off his Russian in front of media.
