Recently, Super Junior attended the Ambassador Appointment ceremony for the 2011 Seoul Summer Sale on the 17th of June, which was held in the small conference room in Seoul City Hall in Seoul's Jung-gu. There, they received their official title, as they had been selected as the new Ambassador of Seoul Summer sale, pulling an impressive 72% of total votes, winning the position in a landslide.
The mayor of Seoul, Oh Se Hoon, praised the group, "Super Junior have been very well-received in China, Southeast Asia and other regions of Asia, and recently in Europe."
