Supernova being awarded as "Certified Celebrity Activists"

Earlier today, Korean boy group Supernova held a performance at one of the stops of their "Supernova LIVE TOUR 2011 Pray" at Pacifico Yokohama in Kanagawa, Japan. A portion of the proceeds of the tour will be donated to support the earthquake-stricken east of Japan, as part of their "Friends of the United Nations" volunteer mission. Supernova decided to donate through a big presentation and ceremony held right before the show.

Supernova's leader, Yunhak, personally gave the proceeds to representatives of the "Friends of the United Nations". He hopes that the donations that the group and its fans have made, will be able to make a difference and help out the people who were hurt due to the disaster.

The 6 members of the idol group have visited the affected areas, including 6 city shelters in Rikuzentakata, where they gave out soup and Korean food. They were awarded and given honor for these achievements as "Certified Celebrity Activist".
