Wonder Girls to make their U.S. film debut with Nick Cannon

Wonder Girls are currently focusing on their U.S. activities and it has been reported by Sports Seoul that one of South Korea's top girl groups will be making their U.S. film debut with Mariah Carey's husband, Nick Cannon.

At the moment, the movie is temporarily titled as "Wonder Girls at the Apollo", which will feature the members singing and dancing in competition against School Girls. The news of the quintet appearing in the film was revealed when Park Jinyoung appeared at this year's "Festival of Media 2011" last May in Montreux, Switzerland.

According to officials, Wonder Girls will begin filming for the movie in the 2nd half of the year. JYP Entertainment was further quoted saying, “Wonder Girls and Nick Cannon will appear on a film. Wonder Girls and School Girls will appear on a film together and will also work on an album together.”

Previously, the members of the group have appeared in camoes on Shim Hyungrae's "The Last Godfather" - but this will be the first time that all members are set to have roles in a film together.
