4minute's Jihyun confirmed to appear in a weekend drama

4minute's Nam Jihyun will be showcasing her acting talent in a new project! Recently, Jihyun wass confirmed to have been cast for MBC's upcoming weekend drama "1000 Kisses", scheduled to be broadcasted by August.

This project will be the second time that Jihyun will be appearing in the small screen, following her last drama appearance in SBS's "It's Okay, Daddy's Daughter".

On "1000 Kisses", Nam Jihyun will be playing the role of Jang Sooah, highlighted as a bubbly and lighthearted character intended to brighten up the heavy, awkward household atmosphere in the drama. She will be acting alongside actor Ryujin, who will be her big brother in the production.

A representative of the drama also shed some thought on her recent casting by saying, “While Nam Jihyun received favorable reviews for her solid performance in ‘It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter’, it was too bad that she didn’t get enough exposure. This time, it’s a 50-episode drama series, so she will certainly be able to make herself known to the drama viewers.”
