Boy Friend is one of the latest of the many rookie groups that has made their debut this year. The male group consists of 6 members: maknae Minwoo (16), leader Donghyun (22), Jungmin (17), Hyunsung (18) and the twins Jo Kwangmin and Youngmin (16).In an interview with Newsen, the group expressed that they would like to follow in the footsteps of TVXQ and have the creativity of Big Bang, two of the top male groups in Korea. In addition, they are aiming to receive the Rookie Award this year.
Boy Friend are currently promoting their title song "Boy Friend" from their debut single of the same name.
