Chinese top star Wei Chen has been confirmed by officials on July 6th that he will be attending Mnet's "20s Choice" awards. A sponsor said, "The award show will be broadcasted in the U.S., China, Japan, Thailand, and 13 other countries and inviting one of China's top star will give the show that global aspect."
Wei Chen said, "I'm honored to be attending the show that represents Hallyu's Wave."
Wei Chen is known for his role in the Chinese drama version of "Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers)" known as "Meteor Shower" as Ye Shuo. He first came into the entertainment business through the Chinese "Superstar K" show known as "Super Boy" and placed third. Since 2008, he has released two albums.
