IU wowed the audience of SBS ‘Kiss & Cry‘ with her Paso Doble dance performance on the most recent episode.
To match their passionate Spanish song, IU and her partner transformed into a bull and a matador, full with extravagant costumes and makeup.
IU was praised especially for her improvement from last week’s performance, showing more stable lifts and facial expressions.
She said, “I actually lost more and more confidence with each practice for this performance. I was scared of feeling nauseous so I haven’t eaten anything all day,” showing just how much the singer had prepared for the show.
The judges commented and praised, “You look a lot more comfortable and stable on the stage than you did before,” “I like that you showed us something so powerful,” and “You were beautiful as the bull.”
However, IU and partner Choi In Hwa received a score of 32.5, placing them at 9th overall, and was eliminated from the competition along with the Seo Ji Suk pairing.
