JYJ files a lawsuit for interventions to their activities.
Baek Chang Ju, the president of C-JeS Entertainment, who acts as JYJ’s manager, announced their wish to institute a lawsuit for the cancelling of 7th Scene Special Edition in Jeju and regarding ambassadors.
President Baek Chang Ju said, “We are sorry for the disappointment that was caused by our sudden cancelling of the 7th Scene Special Edition that was to take place in Jeju Island. JYJ is being hindered endlessly in ways that must be justified by the law and common knowledge; therefore I have decided to make public declaration regarding our position.”
He continued to say, “JYJ was able to bear their fruit of success even in midst of pressure and countless hindrances so far. The name ‘JYJ’ has become well known worldwide and was introduced in USA as the band which have made a huge musical achievement. After the release of their first album, they have carried out over 20 worldwide showcases and concerts where over a million audiences gathered and made themselves evident as being one of the most accomplished of Korean artists.”
President Baek Chang Ju continued anxiously, “However, it is sad how JYJ’s TV performance plans get cancelled repeatedly.”
He continued to assert that, “C-JeS Entertainment will thereby put all effort into helping JYJ to move forward without hesitant pauses amidst interventions. This is the reason for the filing of lawsuit.”
He added, “It has been confirmed by the court that there has been inequity in the contract made between JYJ and previous agency. Using this reason as the base, we will do all we can into filing this lawsuit. However, I think that even if we succeed in filing lawsuit this time, there will still be hindrances blocking our way, but JYJ plans to march forward and spread their music to people all over the world and hope to touch their hearts with their music.”
Meanwhile, JYJ had planned to make appearance on the KBS “7th Original Scene Special Edition 5 won Live” but it was cancelled four days ahead of the date.
