MC Mong Denied Military Admission

MC Mong, who was recently found not guilty of deliberately pulling his teeth in order to avoid enlisting in the military cannot serve now, even if he wanted to, according to a ruling made last week.

After avoiding a six month sentence in prison for alleged draft-dodging, the Government Legislation Office said that although Mong may be willing to go into active duty, it is not possible because he has already been placed in the second tier of the military due to his age, meaning that he can never go into active duty.

"It is not possible for him to serve in active duty, and our ruling is not based on whether the candidate himself is willing to serve in or not," the Office decided earlier this week in its ruling.
