"Miss Ripley" in the lead for highest drama ratings

Last week, we reported that MBC drama "Miss Ripley" will end after sixteen episodes as scheduled, despite MBC and the production company's talks regarding a four-episode extension. Due to the cast members' busy schedules, additional episodes will not be written.

Those who have been watching the drama, however, have not withdrawn their support. On July 12, "Miss Ripley" saw their highest yet ratings. The episode achieved 16.5% ratings, 2.3 percent higher than its previous highest rating of 14.2%. Other dramas broadcasted at the same time (SBS's "Warrier Baek Dong Soo" and KBS2's "Spy Myungwol") saw ratings of 13.7% and 8.3%, so "Miss Ripley" is currently in the lead.

"Miss Ripley", which will air its last episode on July 19, is expected to maintain its newfound position of number 1 in ratings for its remaining two episodes.
