Prizes and rules revealed for 2NE1's "I Am The Best" dance cover contest

In May, YG Entertainment and 2NE1 launched their first dance cover contest for "Lonely"; winner(s) of the month-long contest won tickets to 2NE1's concert and a tour of YG's building. Other prizes included autographed 2NE1 CDs and signed polaroids.

We recently reported on the launch of 2NE1's second dance cover contest, which asks fans to submit the best videos of their "I Am The Best" dance covers. This latest contest begins today, July 8th, and will end on August 5th.

2NE1's official Facebook has revealed the rules and prizes for the contest. Entrants must upload a video of themselves covering 2NE1's "I Am The Best" and title the video [2NE1 'I AM THE BEST' DANCE COVER]. Then, they must go to the YG Events page on Youtube and provide a video description, a link to the video, and their nationality.

Videos must be 4-5 minutes and will be disqualified if the participant does not use a video of themselves or if the video is irrelevant to the contest.

There are also tips on how to increase chances of winning: leave a cheer message for 2NE1, who is currently preparing for their first contest, and shout "Let's Play!" in your language at the beginning of the video.

The winner will be announced on August 12th. 21 entries will receive prizes: Potential prizes include concert tickets to 2NE1's first concert (plane tickets and accommodations provided), $10,000 USD of Adidas products, autographed 2NE1 CDs, and other special gifts.

The entry with the largest number of people will win the "Guinness Award" and the entry with the most creative cover video will win "The Best Award."

Fans who are interested in practicing for the contest and learning the moves can check out 2NE1's "I Am The Best" choreography practice video, which was revealed at the end of June on Youtube.
