T-ara's agency requests extra security for their Japanese showcase

Girl group T-ara is one of the most highly anticipated Kpop groups that will make their debut in Japan and will host a showcase to celebrate their debut. Their Japanese agency has also asked for extra security guards and security precautions in anticipation of overcrowding and safety concerns.

A Core Contents Media representative said on July 1st, "Because it's more difficult for Japanese fans to see T-ara compared to local Korean fans, we expect 1,500 to 2,000 fans to be at the airport since they know the flight times already. In response to this, T-ara's Japanese agency J-ROCK has asked for extra security and protection to help escort T-ara to ensure their safety."

T-ara will have their debut Japanese showcase at the Shibuya AX theater in Tokyo on July 5th. Over 70,000 fans applied for the showcase and because the lottery was so competitive, the odds were 46 to one. Shibuya AX's capacity is only 1500 seats.

Meanwhile, T-ara will perform their new song, "Roly-Poly," along with their other number one hit songs, "I Go Crazy Because of You", "Why Are You Being Like This?", "YaYaYa", and "Bo Peep Bo Peep."
