X-Japan to perform concert in Korea as part of their world tour

Japanese rock band X-Japan will stop in Korea and perform a concert as part of their world tour. X-Japan kicked off their tour last month and has so far performed in England, France, the Netherlands, and Germany. There are also plans for X-Japan to stop in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil in September.

According to the tour's planner, Asia Bridge Contents (ABC), X-Japan will stop in Korea in October. As part of their Asia tour, X-Japan will also visit Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Taipei. They will perform in Korea on October 23rd at Seoul's Olympic Park Gymnasium.

X-Japan recently experienced a great loss when member Taiji Sawada attempted suicide two weeks ago. He had been detained by police for allegedly assaulting a flight attendant on the plane going from Saipan to Tokyo. Taiji Sawada was put on life support until both his mother and fiancée decided to take him off life support. He passed away on July 17th.

The group was quoted saying, "All the members of our group are overcome by huge shock, but our concerts will continue by us doing the best that we can for Hilde and Taiji."

X-Japan was formed in 1982 under the name "X". The group disbanded in 1997, but regrouped in 2007.
