Younha seeks contract termination with her agency

Younha has been under the agency Lion Media for 7 years. She first made her debut in 2004 in Japan and achieved great success, gaining her the nickname the "Oricon comet." Then she officially made her debut in Korea in 2006.

It was confirmed on July 12th by Lion Media that Younha filed a petition to the court in April requesting for her contract with her Korean agency to be terminated. The reasons behind her sudden decision was not revealed by the agency, however, an official from Lion Media said that they are "working to reach a satisfactory agreement." The official also added that they will also release their official stand on the matter.

Younha's last released Korean album was in December 2009 called "Part B: Growing Season."
