Fans express concern over 2PM’s Taecyeon and his crutches

On August 21st, 2PM held a release event for their latest Japanese single, “I’m Your Man“, in Yokohama, Japan with 50,000 fans.

Although the boys made the audience rave over their ‘necktie dance’, fans were concerned to seeTaecyeon arrive for the release event on crutches. Taecyeon warmly greeted the audience by saying,“I’m so glad to be able to meet all of you.”

On August 22nd, JYP Entertainment addressed the crutches through a statement with Star News: “Taecyeon strained his ankle a bit, so he attended the event in crutches. There isn’t anything wrong with his health. Taecyeon himself assured fans that he was okay through his Twitter.”

2PM is currently off to a positive start with their Japanese promotional activities, as “I’m Your Man” ranked 3rd on the Oricon daily chart. The boys will be focusing on their Japanese activities for the time being.
