All around performer and producer Park Jinyoung (JYP) is reported to have been chosen for the lead role in the upcoming movie "The 5 Million Dollar Man." According to the film's production company, Harimao Pictures, they recently discussed the role with Park Jinyoung and after a little while, he agreed to join the project.
"The 5 Million Dollar Man" is a film about an aspiring singer who caused a mishap after being involved in a money-related incident. It will be directed by Kim Ikro and is set to start filming around October.
Harimao Pictures previously intended for their other film "All Quiet on the Western Front" to be their next project but it is currently facing multiple production delays. The delays with their other project leaves "The 5 Million Dollar Man" to be in the hype, just as it has now.
Meanwhile, this will not be the first time that Park Jinyoung will be acting, as he previously appeared in a minor role in the musical drama "Dream High" which aired earlier this year.
Aside from the upcoming movie, Park Jinyoung will also be busy with the upcoming production of "Dream High 2."
