Han Yeseul, who recently finished filming "Spy Myung Wol" as the female main character, has been invited to the National Assembly of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to share her opinions on how the drama production environment is for her and other actors and actresses in front of lawmakers. This invitation to testify came following the recent broadcasting conflicts with "Spy Myungwol." She will be asked to state her views on how to improve the filming environment of Korean television dramas.
During this inspection, the parliamentary committee will be conducting their inspection of 28 different government offices including the different Ministries. These Ministries include Culture, Sports and Tourism, Cultural Heritage Administration, the Korea Communications Commission, and 23 other start-run firms. It will also include the inspection of bills, budgets, and policies. This inspection will also help to correct practices and present policy options to relevant government agencies.
It is uncertain at this point if Han Yeseul will actually be participating in the inspection session, but if she participates, she will be an important testifier for this annual inspection of the film and music industry.
