SHINee Interviewed by "B-Pass" Magazine

SHINee, who is set to make their official Japanese debut in the near future, was recently interviewed by "B-Pass" magazine.

SHINee, who will soon make their Japanese debut with the release of "Replay", was recently interviewed by the Japanese magazine "B-Pass", regarding their recently released single and their favorite things about Japan. Previously, they had also participated in a photo shoot for the same magazine.

Q1. Please tell us the main points you want to express about SHINee's major debut single "Replay".

Taemin: Each member really shows their individuality, and the song is also different in both languages. We want you to hear the difference between the Korean and Japanese version of "Replay".
Jonghyun: Also, please listen carefully to our collaboration with Shoujo Jidai's YoonA.
Minho: I also think the last part of the music video when all five us are together - the rap and the ad-lib, are parts to really look out for.
Key: I will be glad if everyone likes this song; that it is accessible to all kinds of listeners. I also really like the dance. And please pay attention to my acting, where I dream of becoming a fashion designer.
Onew: Please pay attention of each and everyone's acting scenes, and how we express our emotions.

Q2. What Japanese foods do you want to try? And where in Japan would you like to go most?

Taemin: I want to eat unagi-don, (eel over sushi rice), and go to Tokyo's Shibuya and Harajuku. I also want to visit Sapporo.
Jonghyun: Unagi-don; It was very delicious.
Minho: Because I love ramen, I want to eat different kinds of ramen. A lot of good memories were made when we visited Sapporo's Snow Festival event last year, so I want to visit there again.
Key: Ramen and Odaiba, Donki-hote? *laughs*
Onew: Hitsumabushi (Nagoya’s style eel on rice), Tebasaki ( seasoned deep-fried chicken wings). Disneyland and Tokyo Tower.

Q3. Please let us know what is your goal for the second half of this year 2011.

Taemin: Before I turn 20 years old, I want to firmly present my character. I want to make my talents noticeable.
Jonghyun: I want to be able to play the guitar well.
Minho: I want to meet lots of different people in Japan, and play on many different kinds of stages. I also want to show my abilities more.
Key: I want to be happy and live life to the fullest.
Onew: I want to learn Japanese.

Q4. Please describe your personality in one phrase, and also, please compare yourself to an animal!

Taemin: I have a positive character, but I think I might also be a little greedy. A dolphin!
Jonghyun: Frank and mischievous? A raccoon?
Minho: For one syllable it's "flame". I get very excited, but I'm also easy to cool down. I think I would maybe compare myself to an ostrich?
Key: I think I’m a honest and cheerful person. A fox ( people often said I look like a fox, I really don’t know if it's my appearance or actually I look like a fox)
Onew: I think I'm a warm and gentle person. A Rabbit.

Q5. Please tell us what are you into nowadays.

Taemin: I’m addicted to J-POP. For example J-POP's unique melody and heartfelt ballads.
Jonghyun: Studying Japanese (I'm trying to watch Anime in order to learn Japanese.)
Minho: Studying Japanese and watching Japanese dramas. And also games.
Key: Studying Japanese, Exercising, Practice singing.
Onew: I'm interested in different types of musical genres.

Q6. Please give a message to our B-Pass readers!

Taemin: Everybody, Hello. I’m SHINee's youngest member Taemin. From now on, please look forward of us SHINee. We will be coming to meet you soon so please wait a little! and also, take care of your health and don't catch the cold!
Jonghyun: Since we announced last year at our Japan concert, all of us members have been very exited and looking forward of our Japanese debut. Our debut single "Replay" will be released on June 22. From now on we will do our best and please look forward of SHINee!
Minho: Because our fans are so supportive, we were able to debut in Japan, and I am very grateful. We are still starting out, so we should not forget that we are still a beginners. We will work hard throughly and do our best for the fans who keep on supporting us. From now on, please look forward of SHINee and let’s meet in Japan!
Key: Japanese fans always support us warmly so from now on we are more and more excited of our Japanese debut. We will be show you only SHINee’s style of song and performance so please look forward of us!
Onew: From now on, we will be promoting in Japan. To the extent that we are expecting, honestly we are a little nervous but Japanese fans always support us so it's really heartening.
