The VIP premiere of the upcoming horror movie "White: Curse of the Melody" took place on May 30th and had many idol singers attend. Girl group T-ara attended the premiere to support their fellow member Ham Eunjung, who plays Eunjoo in the movie. Idols who came include KARA's Park Gyuri, 2AM's Im Seulong, miss A's Min and Suzy, and female duo group Davichi (Kang Minkyung and Lee Haeri).Other attendees include Park Yongwoo, Seowoo, Hwanhee, Lee Sangwoo, Park Jibin, Ryu Deokhwan, and Lee Pilmo. In addition to the famous entertainers, fans filled up the theater in anticipation of Eunjung's first lead role in a movie.
"White: Curse of the Melody" also stars female solo singer Maydoni, Choi Ara, and Jin Seyun. The movie is about an idol girl group keeping a dark secret with T-ara's Eunjung as its leader. 2PM's Junho and After School have also made a special cameo appearance in the movie.
After watching the movie, celebrities who attended the premiere immediately posted messages on their Twitter accounts like, "That was SO scary."
Seulong wrote, "WHITE was very enjoyable. It's a scary movie, but it's still fun at the same time to watch," and jokingly added, "I was seated beside miss A's Min, and her screaming was even scarier than the film."
miss A's Min posted, "People have to watch this film! It's going to be your must-do for the summer!" while miss A's Suzy warned, "It was really, really scary! It's great for the summer... But you probably shouldn't watch it alone."
T-ara Hyomin stated, "Eunjung-unni's never been shown this way. I'm still scared," and Park Gyuri said that while it was "fun and scary. Everyone should watch it. I live alone, and that scares me.."
"White: Curse of the Melody" is set to be released in Korean theaters on June 9th.
