SNSD continues to rank 1st on Oricon Daily Chart with album "Girls' Generation"

SNSD released their first Japanese album on June 1st titled "Girls' Generation," which included several new Japanese songs as well as past hits such as "Genie," "Gee," and "Mr. Taxi." On the first day of release, SNSD ranked 1st on the Oricon Daily Chart for albums with 73,583 units sold.

The girl group continues their hold on the Oricon Daily Chart as they stayed for the 2nd day in a row in 1st place with 48,428 additional units sold. SNSD has sold 122,011 units overall in the past two days, which is quite an achievement.

SNSD are currently on their first Japan Arena Tour, which started in Osaka on May 31st. The girls have attracted attention for their beautiful stages and concepts, especially leader Taeyeon. The girls will proceed to kick start their Asia tour beginning in Seoul on July 23rd and 24th after finishing their Arena Tour on July 18th.
