See below for the song!Late last year, SHINee's Jonghyun recorded a song for SBS' drama "City Hunter." Jonghyun was chosen for his mellow yet strong voice, which characterises him as one of the best singers amongst the idols. The song, titled "So Goodbye," will be released under the "City Hunter OST part 2" at midnight (KST) on June 2nd via an online music site.
"So Goodbye" was written by music producer Oh Junseong, who has previously composed songs for Hallyu dramas "Boys Over Flowers," "My Girl," and "Prosecutor Princess," amongst others. It is a ballad that expresses the complicated emotions the protagonists of "City Hunter" feel.
Despite the obvious difficulty in conveying the emotions within the song, it is said that Jonghyun managed to complete the recording with all due thanks to his outstanding vocal and emotive abilities. A representative from Oh Junseong's side lavished high praise on Jonghyun, saying that he is "indeed a singer-dol".
