Lee Hyuk emerges as victor on the latest episode of "Immortal Song 2"

We previously reported that "Immortal Song 2" would hold two summer specials, one for male vocalists and one for female vocalists. On July 23rd's KBS 2TV "Immortal Song 2", Kim Taewoo, Wheesung, Hwanhee, Lee Jung, K.Will, Lim Taekyung, Lee Hyuk, and Lee Sukhoon competed against each other by choosing 8 songs out of a list of 100 top songs for KBS's 25th anniversary special.

On this day, Norazo's Lee Hyuk, who was picked 8th to sing, sang "Silla". Before his performance, he had stated that he wanted the audience to listen in wonder at the fact that you could sing this song in such a different way. He also wanted the audience to forget about Norazo for that small amount of time.

During the performance, he first started singing in a mellow way and then suddenly created an entirely different mood by using powerful shouting vocals. He shouted "Are you ready to go fast?", causing the mood to make a 180-degree change.

With his explosive vocals, he was able to show a charismatic rocker image. He then ended the powerful performance with an even more powerful kick/jump.

Next week's "Immortal Song 2" will see the "Female Vocalists" special, featuring Jewelry's Seo Inyoung, Lyn, Lim Jeonghee (also known as J-Lim), Davichi's Lee Haeri, Gavy NJ's Jang Heeyoung, Rumble Fish's Choi Jinee, and CSJH The Grace's Dana.
