Korean Music Wave 2011 to be held in Malaysia

The Korean Music Wave 2011 is scheduled to be held in Malaysia, featuring a number of popular groups and bands, according to concert promoter's Galaxy Group on Tuesday. Their official Facebook webpage revealed that Big Bang members G-Dragon, T.O.P, and Seungri, singer Park Jungmin of SS501, FT Island, 4minute, U-Kiss, and Teen Top will perform at the Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on September 24th.

U-Kiss members Kevin and Dongho will be special guest MCs for the night. Since their album release earlier this year, Big Bang has been taking a break from their music activities and were recently named the new models of clothing brand New Face. Park Jungmin was one of the main vocalists of boy band SS501 and has since pursued a solo singing career after the group's contract expired in June of last year. He finished filming the Japanese mobile drama series "Love Song in August" alongside actress Sakai Miki. FT Island held their "PLAY FTISLAND" concert in Korea last weekend and will head to several countries in Asia for their concert tour.

4Minute’s latest single “Mirror Mirror” has been a hit earlier this year, and now the group will release their fifth Japanese single "Heart to Heart" next month. U-Kiss (Ubiquitous Korean International Super Star) is gearing up for their comeback to the local music scene with their second full-length album "SOMEDAY," which will become available on September 1st. Lastly, Teen Top has been busy promoting their title track "Don't Spray Perfume" from their new mini-album "Roman."
